Gerald V. Sims joined Heath in 2006 as a Sales Consultant, where he worked diligently to support and provide innovative solutions to our customers. He quickly promoted to the National Sales Manager and into his current position as Vice President of Sales. His responsibilities include directing Heath’s Sales Consultants, collaborating with the executive and engineering teams on new product development, marketing, customer service and field operations.
Throughout his expansive career in the gas and oil industry, Gerald has held several positions including field technician, operations management and sales. He serves on several gas association committees including the American Gas Association, Southern Gas Association (SGA) and the Texas Gas Association (TGA). Gerald is actively engaged in several other industry associations that are committed to educating both public and private sectors on the safety of the natural gas industry. He is a U.S. Army Veteran with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of North Carolina and a proud father of two sons.
